The GE team also includes fully qualified professionals personally accredited by the Guild of Architectural Ironmongers (GAI), bringing specialist knowledge of door hardware specification, compliance and performance.
Having this expertise on site allows us to carefully coordinate ironmongery selection with our certified doorset systems, ensuring compatibility with fire testing, accessibility requirements and project-specific performance criteria.
Fully Tested, Fully Certified Doorset Solutions
Ironmongery is a critical component of any doorset. Hinges, locks, closers, access control, and other hardware must work together with the door leaf and frame to deliver reliable performance, particularly in firerated applications.
At GE Door Manufacturing, we supply integrated ironmongery packages as part of our fully tested doorset systems, ensuring compatibility, compliance and long-term performance.
Our doorsets are tested with integrated hardware configurations and are supplied within the scope of BM TRADA Q-Mark certification, identified by the BM TRADA Silver Plug, providing independent third-party assurance that the doorset and ironmongery combination has been assessed as a complete system.
Flush fitting Ironmongery can be pre-installed in the factory, speeding up the installation on site, and reducing the risk of noncompliance.
