We showcase a selection of the most commonly specified finishes across Commercial, Education, Healthcare and Residential sectors. These options allow specifiers and contractors to quickly select proven solutions that work well across a wide range of schemes.
Part M Compliance and Visual Contrast
Achieving the correct visual contrast between doors, frames and surrounding walls is an important requirement under Approved Document Part M, helping ensure buildings are accessible to people with visual impairments. We can support specifiers and designers by:
- Advising on suitable colour contrast combinations
- Helping achieve recommended LRV (Light Reflectance Value) differences
- Providing door, frame and ironmongery finishes that support accessibility
- Supplying sample finishes to assist with design approval
By considering colour contrast early in the design process, projects can achieve both strong visual design and compliance with accessibility guidance. However, our capability goes much further. We can source, press and finish almost any timber veneer, and we also offer a comprehensive range of laminate and PVC facing options for environments requiring enhanced durability.
